Read the full article for important information about each new release.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"horizontalrule\"\/>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: initial;\"><strong>New feature for ScanSeries for iOS and Android Users<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong style=\"background-color: initial;\">Discrepancy Photos Added:  <\/strong><span style=\"background-color: initial;\">New feature allows Image\/DocDrive support for adding photos of Discrepancies to Failed devices (requires <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www3.buildingreports.com\/l\/35442\/2014-07-31\/2lgf1\/35442\/38614\/BRC_Doc_Drive_Data_Sheet_07_23_14.pdf\" style=\"background-color: initial;\">DocDrive<\/a><span style=\"background-color: initial;\"> subscription).<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: initial;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> If a ScanSeries user&#8217;s organization DocDrive enabled attempts to use the new feature to add a Discrepancy Photo, the application will prompt them letting them know that &#8220;They are not logged in or do not have a subscription to DocDrive for capturing images&#8221;. If DocDrive has been recently enabled on an organization&#8217;s account that did not have DocDrive previously, the ScanSeries user must log out and log back in <span style=\"background-color: initial;\">(via the WebConnector cloud icon on his\/her device) to<\/span><span style=\"background-color: initial;\"> add Discrepancy Photos to the building(s) already on their iOS\/Android device.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: initial;\"><strong>For Janam XM5 Users:<\/strong> Due to the hardware configuraiton of these PDAs, there are no <\/span><span style=\"background-color: initial;\">dedicated cameras on-board so Discrepancy Photos are not available with these scanners. To avoid any potential confusion for users of this hardware we have hidden\/disabled the Discrepancy Photo feature on the XM5.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: initial;\"><strong><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"background-color: initial;\"><strong>ScanSeries for iOS<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>\n      The following specific changes\/additions are included in this version on iOS.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Major Updates<\/strong>:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: initial;\">BRMobile with icon now available for quick launching from ScanSeries launch screen<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The initial roll-out of the Universal App adjustment (for iPad Mini compatibility) which allows iPad (Mini) users to install ScanSeries application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<span style=\"background-color: initial;\">The release also includes a number of bug fixes and other minor improvements.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold; letter-spacing: -1px; background-color: initial;\">ScanSeries for Android<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>\n      The following specific changes and and additions are included in this version on Android:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: initial;\">Inspector&#8217;s Test and other default services now save correctly.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: initial;\"><\/span><span style=\"background-color: initial;\">Updated user interface for Merge toggle buttons colors, <\/span><span style=\"background-color: initial;\">Pass\/Fail Other toggle button colors and other cosmetic updates.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: initial;\">Account Manager role and contact info now available under Building info (to learn more about this new user role, see the <a href=\"..\/..\/12\/new-account-manager-role\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recent blog post for iOS<\/a>).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: initial;\">Pass\/Fail service activities now save properly when using the back button.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: initial;\">Check for update feature bug has been corrected.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Available now, ScanSeries iOS version 2.3.41 and ScanSeries for Android version 1.0.99 can be downloaded in their respective app stores.
