  • The BRYCER TCE submission tracking grid on the Integrations page has also been updated to support more consistent access to ScanSeries reports directly from the grid.

LIV Integration

  • The LIV integration now supports the upcoming Auto-Cleared submission status.

ScanSeries for Android (Version 1.9.13)

The latest Android release includes several enhancements designed to improve field efficiency, data entry, and inspection flexibility.

  • SafetyScan now supports scanning QR codes on Ansul fire extinguishers, helping users enter basic device details more efficiently. SafetyScan users can also sort and filter devices by Type and Size, making it easier to navigate device lists during inspections.
  • SprinklerScan pump test records now allow users to store pitot readings in device notes. A new Alternate Power checkbox has also been added to pump test entries, allowing users to document when a pump test was completed using an alternate power source. When used, this produces a new curve on the pump graph.
  • Users can now locate a building for download by scanning a LiveArchive QR code associated with that building. From the search bar, simply select the QR code icon and scan the code to locate the building.

Additional Android enhancements include:

  • Inspection Comment entry now automatically opens the on-screen keyboard when adding a comment.
  • The support page now displays the applicable technical support phone number based on the user’s location.
  • FireScan now supports up to 250 control panels.
  • Device List Range settings now include additional options to better align with iOS.
  • Manufacturer entry has been refined to reduce duplicate entries.
  • The device replacement process now carries device details forward more consistently from the replaced device to the new device.
  • A new setting allows users to enable or disable the camera for barcode scanning.

Together, these updates help Android users move through inspections more efficiently while supporting stronger documentation and greater flexibility in the field.

ScanSeries for iOS (Version 2.41.8)

The latest iOS release introduces expanded integration support, new field documentation tools, and several enhancements designed to make mobile inspections more efficient.

  • The ServiceTrade integration is now available on iOS, allowing users to send all discrepancies found during an inspection to an associated ServiceTrade Location or Job. Additional ServiceTrade updates help ensure discrepancies submitted through the integration are properly identified.
  • SafetyScan scanning has also been enhanced to read QR codes on Ansul fire extinguishers, helping users capture basic device details more efficiently.
  • SprinklerScan pump test records now include support for alternate power conditions. Users can indicate when a pump test was performed using an alternate power source and use a new tool to copy pitot data into device notes for the Pump Test. Pump Test entries can also be managed more easily from Pump devices.
  • Users can now search for and download buildings by scanning a LiveArchive QR code. From the search bar, simply select the QR code icon and scan the code to locate and download the building.

Additional iOS enhancements include:

  • Pre-upload frequency, signature, and photo prompts have returned to their previous behavior, allowing users to continue uploading inspections even when prompted items are not included.
  • Spanish language support is available in the app, with users able to select a language in Settings or use the default language of their mobile device.
  • BRForms stability and default device service handling have been strengthened.
  • Rescanning a previously scanned barcode now updates the service value with the default service for that device type.
  • WebConnector send and download screens now include updated icons and a selected-building counter.
  • Bluetooth merge performance has been enhanced to support a smoother merge process.
  • Translation support has been expanded so additional areas of the application can support multiple languages.
  • Organizations can now activate a prompt for setting inspection frequency on uploaded inspections. Please contact your regional Member Success Manager or Member Services for activation.

These iOS updates support more connected workflows, clearer field documentation, and a more flexible mobile inspection experience.
