Job description

Responsibilities:

Expand existing and develop new national account opportunities within the designated territory. Develop new account opportunities with multi-site regional and national prospects. Lead all aspects of opportunity identification, customer presentations, proposal generation, and contract execution. Work closely with internal teams consisting of sales support, lead generation, operation logistics, and finance to achieve growth milestones and goals.

Job Functions:

  • Develop, manage and drive targeted sales growth for National Accounts by expanding upon and developing customer relationships
  • Manage regular contact with accounts and facilitate communication with all relevant customer departments and key decision makers, including facility management & engineering, loss prevention, and finance
  • Be an active participant in updating and managing the plan to provide sales growth in all market segments
  • Ensure high levels of customer responsiveness through utilization of internal infrastructure including National Accounts Coordinator, Sales Development, Member Services, and Director-level department heads
  • Collaborate with management and marketing to facilitate promotional programs, trade shows, and other appropriate marketing directives targeted for National Accounts
  • Develop market awareness through networking, presentations, show/event attendance and industry associations

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Sales/Marketing or related field preferred
  • Minimum of five years of commercial services sales experience. Experience with major, national accounts in the fire and property protection field or proven related experience is preferred
  • Track record of success growing business in large, multi-location enterprise accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to people at all levels, and to communicate both on a technical and non-technical basis
  • Proven sales history with corporate-level contacts
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
