Stay updated with the latest from BuildingReports! The most recent updates, designed in response to our member network’s feedback, reflect our dedication to continuous improvement.
January 2026
Accounts Manager
- Primary action buttons in the Accounts interface have been refreshed for better clarity and ease of use. Buttons are now larger and include descriptive text, making it easier to understand exactly what each action does at a glance.
Dashboard
- To help keep dashboards clean and intentional, widgets that are already added will now display a green icon next to their name. This makes it easy to see which widgets are already active and prevents duplicates from being added unintentionally.
ScanSeries Healthcare Reporting
Healthcare reporting continues to evolve with the latest standards:
-
All TJC formats have been updated to the new 2026 PE formats, maintaining the familiar visual style while aligning report sections with the updated PE standards. Members who wish to continue using legacy TJC formats can reach out to Member Services for assistance.
-
The Inspection & Testing Report section in the SafetyScan TJC format has been refined to ensure consistent, accurate formatting.
-
New “removed” and “replaced” indicators now appear after device test dates, providing a quick visual reference to help readers easily understand device status at a glance.
FireScan
- FireScan now supports additional device types, giving technicians more flexibility when inspecting, testing, and maintaining a wider range of systems and equipment. Newly supported device types include Fire Curtain, Low-Frequency Sounder/Strobe, Master Control Station, and Multi-Sensor Alarm.
SprinklerScan
- SprinklerScan now includes support for the Flame Detector device type, allowing technicians to track inspection, testing, and maintenance for an additional type of initiating device.
